In response to the Tai Po fire disaster that destroyed over 1800 homes, Faith in Love has put together a pro-bono team of renovation/construction related professionals to help with the rehabilitation of displaced families. Faith in Love Foundation Limited is a Hong Kong registered charitable organisation founded in 2008, and obtained approval as a tax exempt charitable organisation in 2010. The mission of Faith in Love is to support the alleviation of poverty, encouraging volunteerism, and promote art as a medium of connection and expression. In particular, our foundation focuses on the care of children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, providing support, both emotionally and financially to young people who have had a rough start in life. In volunteering and truly giving our time unconditionally to care for another, we feel what it means to be human, that is, to love and connect to another and realise, beyond appearances, we are really not different in our need to love and be loved.
Home, we are told, is where the heart is ❤️. It can also be a place that keeps you safe, keeps you warm, or gives you shelter for the night. It can mean many things to many people. For the lucky ones, it’s a place to grow up and thrive, a place of love and support, a place where we find hot food cooked with love. At Faith in Love, we know not everyone has a place they can call home and too many people count their blessings everyday. That’s why, we are here to help.
